Reflecting on God’s Faithfulness & Advancing the Great Commission
Congratulations and welcome to the second half of 2025!
July—the seventh month—is upon us. Seven, as we know, symbolizes perfection. May the Lord perfect all that concerns you and your household, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
As we look back, Psalm 124 speaks profoundly to our hearts:
[1] “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,” Let Israel now say— [2] “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us, [3] Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us; [4] Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul; [5] Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul.” [6] Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. [7] Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. [8] Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
I must pause and say thank you—for your faithful prayers, generous support, and meaningful partnership in the work God has entrusted to us.
First Half Reflections: Triumphs & Trials
The journey so far has brought both mountain-top testimonies and valley moments. The Ahava Retreat, which hosted missionaries from across Africa for three powerful days of rest and renewal, stands out as a miracle. Without the backing of any organization, this all-expense-paid retreat was funded through grace and sacrifice—thanks to my dear brother, Mr. C and his family who took the lead. May God bless you richly!
At the same time, we faced painful setbacks:
Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” — Job 13:15
In an effort to support both my family and the mission, I entrusted my personal savings to someone who offered to help me purchase USDT at a lower rate. The hope was to sell it at a profit, channel the proceeds into vital needs, and continue the kingdom work. Sadly, both the funds and the crypto disappeared without a trace. It was a sobering loss that left me deeply disappointed.
To make matters more difficult, I also experienced a major financial setback through a fraudulent online investment platform that promised astonishing returns. Like many others hoping to improve their lives and support meaningful causes, I was left reeling from a betrayal that affected not just my finances, but my emotional strength.
Adding to these challenges, after considerable time, effort, and financial investment, my Thailand visa—intended for strategic involvement with Global Missions Mobilization Initiative (GMMI), Chiang Mai—expired unused. It was a personal heartbreak and a missed opportunity for ministry collaboration.
Each of these moments brought intense pressure and grief. Yet, through every loss, God’s grace has been our anchor. And your prayers, compassion, and partnership have been vessels of healing and strength.
Together We’ve Made Eternal Impact
Because of your support, this is what we accomplished together:
-
Empower 50+ missionaries serving in tough terrains across four nations.
-
Support children of missionaries and students—from university to elementary school.
-
Minister to and uplift missionary families.
-
Mobilize, train, and equip harvest workers to reach unreached peoples.
-
Meet some of our own family’s basic needs.
-
Bring transformation to underserved communities lacking basic amenities.
We’ve come this far not because we’re without needs, but because we’ve chosen to be funnels, not containers. A pipe through which water flows always remains wet—may we never stop flowing.
The Road Ahead: Advancing the Great Commission
With Ahava Retreat behind us, we’re ready to dive deeper into frontline outreach.
Let’s do more. Let’s press further. Let’s reach the unreached—together.
Thank you for holding the rope. Thank you for staying faithful.
Exciting Update: School of Christian Leadership!
I’m honored to be joining my brother, Pastor Reuben Pradhan, along with other esteemed faculty members at the School of Christian Leadership starting this month. Together, we’ll facilitate a transformative course on leadership—designed to raise up impactful gospel-driven leaders.
