Glory to God!
Ahava Retreat was a tremendous success. Missionaries experienced rest, rejuvenation, empowerment, nourishment, and renewed strength to persist in the Gospel of Christ.
We were blessed to host missionaries from the South-South, South-West, South-East, and Northern zones of Nigeria, as well as from Niger Republic, Cameroon, and Benin Republic. Altogether, over 50 people participated in this transformative gathering.
During Ahava Retreat, we were ministered to—spiritually, physically, mentally, and wholly. Our bodies were refreshed through physical exercise, and our spirits revived in an atmosphere of divine renewal.
We are deeply grateful to God for His miraculous provisions, providence, and protection. By His grace, all missionaries and guest ministers safely arrived at their respective destinations.
Testimonies from the 2025 Ahava Retreat
My Expectations were fulfilled at Ahava Retreat
I came to Ahava Retreat this year seeking rest and divine instructions, and my expectations were fulfilled. I left the retreat ground with three profound lessons:
- God is my source—Every other provision is merely a channel. I must trust the Lord of the Harvest to supply my needs and move the hearts of men on my behalf.
- I can be replaced—If I am not willing and ready for His mission, I may simply occupy space while God raises His chosen, willing, and prepared worker.
- I am simply a labourer—Any title beyond this kingdom calling is foreign and unrecognized in the archives of heaven. God acknowledges only labourers, not executives.
I am deeply grateful to Pastor Folarin, Chisom, and the entire team for their dedication, heavenly hospitality, and the opportunity to rest and receive divine direction for the mission ahead.
What you have done for the Body of Christ and His labourers, may heaven multiply unto you all abundantly.

A Paradigm Shift at Ahava Retreat!
I came to Ahava Retreat seeking the Lord and meeting His laborers, and I was not disappointed!
Upon returning to my church, CGM, I passionately shared how God is moving across nations through His faithful yet often overlooked laborers. My pastor, the head of the provincial headquarters, was deeply moved. Right then and there, he caught the burden for missions and declared that the provincial headquarters would actively take up the work of reaching the unreached. I pray this vision takes root and flourishes beyond mere inspiration!
Did I rest at Ahava? Well, I’ll let my pastor answer that— “Ah! Justice!” he exclaimed, “You added body ooo!” “Yes ooo!” his wife chimed in with a hearty compliment. 😁😊
If just two days at Ahava made a visible difference, what more can I say! 🙆🏻♂😩
Was I renewed spiritually? Absolutely! The anointing with which I spoke about missions was so intense that it stirred a pastor to action, prompting a decisive commitment to mission work for the entire province. I burn brighter now!
I deeply appreciate @Folarin Oluwaseun, @Chucks UI, @Mr. Temidara Agunbiade, @Bro. Ikpa 2, and everyone who made this retreat possible. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain—God bless you abundantly!
You are marvelously loved! 💗🥰

A Revival Has Just Happened!
Beloved Missionaries,
Revival has come! It took place at Ahava Retreat 2025 in Ibadan and mark my words—this moment will be recorded in church history. Many exploits will be traced back to what seemed like a simple gathering but was, in reality, a divine appointment.
I bear witness in my spirit that Heaven stood still at a point during the retreat, with the hosts eagerly watching in high expectation. At that moment, a people had caught something precious—something God has long desired to release upon this generation.
My Plea:
Do not let it die out!
Personally, I have resolved to radically and uncompromisingly cut off anything that attempts to rob me of this spiritual state—this fire that has been kindled.
Stay alert, beloved! Revival has just taken place!

Amazed by the Impact of Ahava 2025
Reading the numerous great testimonies of impact has been truly awe-inspiring!
It is amazing how, throughout history, God has used simple gatherings and ordinary people—those desperate for nothing but His Name and Glory—to ignite mighty revivals. Just like the Upper Room experience, just like the Azusa Street pioneers, God continues to work through the humble to accomplish His divine purpose.
Grateful for Mission Awareness Outreach & Ahava Retreat
The Lord blesses all those He has used to birth Mission Awareness Outreach and, of course, Ahava Retreat!
In my few years of mission engagement, I have attended many meetings and mission trainings, but the atmosphere at Ahava 2025 was something different. The messages, prayers, and hymns took me back to my university days, where revival first birthed a missions burden in my heart.
I even remembered a hymn I last sang during my campus days—one that resurfaced during Ahava Retreat: “Lord, give me light that I may see.”
A Return to the Foundations of Missions
Ahava 2025 rekindled the early days of commissioning for missions. The hymns, prayers, and old-fashioned messages—the very elements that birthed missions within our hearts—were once again used to ignite a fresh fire.
The most profound part? Missionaries from across the world were impacted and empowered to persist in the Gospel of Christ.
And to think that God accomplished all this—not through big names but through simple vessels, who themselves are Labourers—is deeply instructive.
May the impact of Ahava Retreat 2025 linger long in our hearts and in our labor for the Lord of the Harvest—the One who owns it all!

A Grateful Heart for God’s Mercy & Revival
I sincerely appreciate God’s faithfulness for granting journey mercies as I returned home yesterday—though my battery was low when I arrived, my spirit remained fully charged!
I thank God for the refreshing and refiring that took place at the just-concluded Ahava Retreat. There is absolutely no way that my ministry will ever remain the same. The Lord of the Harvest is directly involved in this work, and my focus is solely on Him—not on accolades or human recognition. Heaven’s angels surround me, ensuring that this mission is not by my strength or techniques but by divine enablement.
With unwavering resolve, I choose to remain a chronic Labourer and never an executive in this Kingdom assignment. No one—no Jael—will take my place or replace me in the mission committed to my hands.
Blessings upon Ahava Retreat
May God bless, replenish, enlarge, and multiply the coasts of the AHAVA team in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of Ahava Retreat—God bless you abundantly in Jesus’ mighty name! Thank you so much for the privilege of allowing my family to participate in this year’s retreat. It was truly an answer to many questions and thoughts in my heart. Through the ministers, God has met my needs in ways I could never have imagined, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
I may not be able to fully express my appreciation, but you have made a tremendous impact. Speaking of the wonderful hospitality, I had been longing to eat Amala and Ewedu with good meat, and, sincerely, I told my pupils in school that I felt like eating Amala—and it actually came to pass at Ahava Retreat! 😄😁🤣
God bless you, and may He answer your own requests in Jesus’ mighty name. Once again, I am truly grateful. My warm regards to all the organizers and the children. God bless Ahava Retreat in Jesus’ mighty name!

Attending this retreat has been a profound gain for me, as I have been impacted in ways beyond measure. One of the greatest lessons I’ve received is recognizing the silent omissions in my work—especially the need to serve with a perfect heart.
I have also gained deeper insight into areas where I have either rushed ahead of God or lagged behind, failing to walk in step with Him in my ministry. Additionally, I have become more aware of distractions that once took my focus away from what truly matters. Now, I am equipped to overcome these challenges whenever they arise in my journey.
I sincerely appreciate the organizers of the AHAVA RETREAT. May the LORD OF THE HARVEST reward your labor of love abundantly in Jesus’ name!

One of the most powerful lessons I learned during Ahava Retreat is that the only requirement to be a labourer is COMPASSION. However, I also believe that being willing and yielded to obey His call is equally essential.
I was reminded that every labourer is an answer to someone’s prayers—prayed for and thrust into the harvest by both the church and the unreached people, much like the Macedonian call that Apostle Paul saw in his night vision.
Another life-changing realization was that no one sends themselves into His harvest—only the LORD, the true owner of the harvest, does.
The testimonies of ministers who shared how God helped them remain steadfast, resisting the pull of mundane distractions, have left an indelible mark on my heart. I will carry these lessons with me until my final breath.
I am called to be a labourer, and I pray that God Almighty will sustain me in His work until the very end. In JESUS’ name, Amen.

What a beautiful outpouring of testimonies—evidence of God’s mighty hand at work in Ahava Retreat 2025. It’s truly inspiring to see lives refreshed, ignited, and transformed for the Gospel.
Thank you for your labor of love, your steadfast commitment, and for creating a space where missionaries could rest, receive, and refire. The impact of Ahava Retreat will ripple far beyond what can be seen now.
May God continue to strengthen, multiply, and bless His work through our hands. We press on in the Gospel of Christ until His glorious return! Amen! 🙏🏽
